I’m a postdoctoral fellow in the Pipeline Transport Processes group in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta.

I did my undergrad in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, and my PhD in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.

This site is a collection of contributions to the scientific and non-scientfic world sorted chronologically. I’m interested in fluid mechanics and multiphase flows, programming and web development, graphic design, and Theology. Examples from all of these fields are collected on this site.

Research Interests

My research interests are mainly in fluid mechanics and turbulence. Some examples are given below:

  • Turbulent structures
  • Control of turbulence
  • Sound generation from turbulence (aeroacoustics)
  • Reduced-order modelling of turbulent flows
  • Experimental techniques for fluid mechanics
  • Signal processing for fluid mechanics
  • Multiphase flows
  • Pipe flows
